CNC Turning Machinist with Automation Experience

Responsibilities

• Independent setup, operation, and monitoring of CNC turning machines
• Operation and monitoring of automation systems (e.g., robot handling, automatic loading and unloading)
• Selection and adaptation of machining programs on various CNC controls
• Performing tool changes, corrections, and minor maintenance work
• Monitoring the manufacturing process and ensuring product quality
• Documentation of work steps and quality controls

• Completed vocational training as a cutting mechanic, industrial mechanic, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in CNC turning, ideally with different controls and automation solutions
• Experience with automation technology (e.g., robot systems, handling systems)
• Confident handling of technical drawings and measuring instruments
• Knowledge of programming and optimizing CNC programs is an advantage
• Willingness to work shifts and flexible working hours
• Teamwork skills, reliability, and a careful working method
• Technical understanding and manual dexterity
• Experience with modern CNC turning machines and automation solutions
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Sense of responsibility for quality and occupational safety
• Experience with the following CNC controls is desirable:
• Fanuc
• Siemens
