Consultant Data Management & Storage Strategy

Project overview

Goal: Conception of a suitable archiving and migration strategy for existing data stocks.

+ Analysis of the existing system landscape and recording of the current data storage, taking into account the existing Open Enterprise Server (OES) and archive systems

+ Inventory and evaluation of existing data stocks, storage locations, data structures, and storage strategies

+ Development of a concept for systematic data classification and examination of suitable automation possibilities

+ Development of a holistic storage and filing strategy for short-, medium- and long-term data retention, taking into account file servers, cloud storage, archive, ECM, and DAM systems

+ Analysis and evaluation of possible ECM and DAM solutions regarding their suitability for the future data management strategy

+ Development of a vendor-neutral target image for the future system and storage architecture, taking into account the ongoing migration to Azure Cloud and Office 365

+ Conception of a suitable archiving and migration strategy for existing data stocks

+ Development of recommendations for action to optimize data storage, information management, and future system integration

Requirements

+ Experience with data management, information governance, and data classification

+ Knowledge of OES and Azure environments

+ Knowledge in the conception of storage, archiving, and migration strategies
