Consultant Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

An established IT and ERP consulting partner in the SME sector, focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and proprietary industry solutions, is seeking an experienced consultant (m/f/d) with profound controlling know-how for advising and implementing accounting and controlling processes for clients.

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months with option for extension
• Remote/On-Site: Hybrid; presence at the location in the Ruhr area is welcome, client assignments in NRW (approx. 100 km around Dortmund), occasionally Bremen; usually 1-3 consecutive days on-site, travel expenses and accommodation will be reimbursed
• Utilization: at least 2 days/week (40%), full-time desired
• Consulting and implementation of the accounting and controlling departments in Business Central, from support to conception
• Conducting process analyses as well as FIT/GAP analyses and deriving viable solution concepts
• Mapping of cost accounting, activity-based costing, calculation, cost center and cost object accounting, and profit and loss accounting in the system
• Recording and evaluating customer requirements as well as technical specification of individual solutions for development
• Conducting technical acceptance and integration tests
• Preparation and execution of key user and user training as well as creation of process descriptions and documentation
• Independent support of workshops, implementation and go-live, prospectively as a sub-project manager

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in accounting and/or controlling
• Profound knowledge in several areas such as cost accounting, profit and loss accounting, budgeting and planning, management reporting, or financial accounting
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Navision
• Ability to analyze business processes and clearly hand over technical requirements to developers
• Very good German language skills, written and spoken
• Willingness to travel within NRW
