Responsibilities

• Analysis of the market environment and relevant market participants in the field of technical ceramics and the semiconductor industry
• Identification and evaluation of current market trends, customer requirements, and technological developments
• Investigation of various ceramic materials and substances regarding their technical properties and application possibilities
• Evaluation of existing and future application fields for technical ceramics in semiconductor production
• Identification of new market potentials and possible product development directions
• Assessment of the technical feasibility and economic potential of new product and material applications
• Development of a structured market and technology overview with concrete recommendations for action
• Presentation of results and derivation of possible next steps for strategic product development

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the field of technical ceramics and/or the semiconductor industry
• Sound knowledge of various ceramic materials, material properties, and their industrial applications
• Comprehensive market knowledge in the semiconductor production environment and relevant market participants
• Experience in market and technology analysis as well as strategic product development
• Knowledge of current technological developments and future market requirements in the semiconductor industry
• Demonstrable reference projects in the evaluation of new technologies, materials, or product applications
• Ability to evaluate technical developments and economic market potentials and to derive practice-oriented recommendations for action
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as an independent way of working
• Very good English skills
