Responsibilities
- Performing functional tests and verifications on rail vehicles
- Analyzing and interpreting test and specification documents
- Deriving and implementing test cases based on existing test procedures
- Performing system, integration, and function tests directly on the vehicle
- Verifying control functions of various vehicle systems
- Tracking test results and documenting anomalies and deviations
- Analyzing technical error patterns together with engineering, system, and validation teams
- Understanding and evaluating interfaces between different vehicle systems
- Supporting commissioning, validation, and release activities
- Documenting test results according to project specifications
Requirements
My advantages:
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Rail Vehicle Technology, or comparable technical qualification
- Experience as a Control Engineer, Test Engineer, Validation Engineer, or Commissioning Engineer in the rail vehicle environment
- Sound knowledge of rail vehicles and their technical interfaces
- Experience with verification and validation in the V-model
- Ability to independently interpret technical requirements and test documents
- Fluent English, French is an advantage
- Willingness to travel within Germany is possible
- Challenging project content
