Control Engineer

Responsibilities

Profile

• Performing functional tests and verifications on rail vehicles
• Analysis and interpretation of test and specification documents
• Derivation and implementation of test cases based on existing test procedures
• Execution of system, integration, and functional tests directly on the vehicle
• Verification of control functions of various vehicle systems
• Tracking of test results and documentation of anomalies and deviations
• Analysis of technical error patterns together with engineering, system, and validation teams
• Understanding and evaluation of interfaces between different vehicle systems
• Support with commissioning, validation, and release activities
• Documentation of test results according to project specifications
• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Rail Vehicle Technology, or comparable technical qualification
• Experience as a Control Engineer, Test Engineer, Validation Engineer, or Commissioning Engineer in the rail vehicle environment
• Sound knowledge of rail vehicles and their technical interfaces
• Experience with verification and validation in the V-model
• Ability to independently interpret technical requirements and test documents
• Fluent English, French advantageous
• Willingness to travel within Germany possible
