Job description
The role involves supporting budgeting, planning, and cost reduction monitoring, analyzing deviations, and proposing corrective actions. You will also collaborate with the finance team on financial statements and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX.
Responsibilities
Profile
- You support budgeting, planning, and monitoring of cost reductions
- You analyze deviations and propose corrective actions for production and overhead departments
- You establish asset rates and set standard costs for accuracy in cost estimation, inventory valuation, and production performance
- You collaborate with the finance team on monthly and annual financial statements (US GAAP), investigate discrepancies, and prepare timely reports
- You prepare internal and external financial packages for management
- Support the preparation and review of capital appropriation requests for new equipment and tooling
- You monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with appropriations and trigger supplemental requests as needed
- You ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX, including self-testing and publishing documentation
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting, control, and compliance
- Support audit management
- Very good English
- Good knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules and Excel
- Experience with the use of AI tools
