Project overview

For one of our major clients, we are currently looking for support that meets the following requirements:

Responsibilities

• Conception and construction of a scalable Redis database architecture
• Installation, configuration, and commissioning of Redis environments
• Development of a suitable architecture for high availability, performance, and reliability
• Conception and implementation of Redis clusters and replication mechanisms
• Analysis and optimization of existing database and infrastructure concepts
• Definition of operational, backup, recovery, and monitoring concepts
• Performance analysis and tuning of the Redis environment
• Support in the integration of Redis into existing application and system landscapes
• Creation of technical documentation and handover to later operations
• Consultation of the involved specialist and IT teams regarding Redis best practices

Requirements

Framework parameters:

• Several years of experience as a database architect, Redis engineer, or in a comparable role
• Very good practical knowledge of Redis
• Experience in the setup and configuration of Redis environments and Redis clusters
• Sound knowledge in the areas of high availability, replication, scaling, and performance optimization
• Experience with backup, recovery, monitoring, and operation of Redis systems
• Good knowledge of Linux-based system environments
• Experience with cloud, container, or Kubernetes environments is an advantage
• Location: Remote, onboarding onsite (a few days)
• Duration: asap until the end of the year with an option for extension for Q1
• Utilization: Part-time to full-time possible
