• Modernization of household and specialized procedures in the public sector at the federal level.
• Operations Team
• A federal public contracting authority, through its budget department, handles the central tasks of budget preparation, budget execution, and accounting. Characteristic of these tasks is that they are cross-departmental and involve special authorizations. To fulfill these time-critical and complexly interconnected tasks, the administration uses specialized budget procedures.
• The modernization program aims to modernize and develop specialized procedures for the future. This implies renewing the system based on modern IT, considering standards, and flexibly responding to legal, regulatory, or organizational changes. A contemporary and user-friendly interface should enable efficient work.
• Provision of first-level technical support via the service portal
• Troubleshooting Azure, Openshift, CI/CD and forwarding requests to the responsible team if necessary
• Further development of the Service Desk and associated Service Requests by evaluating key figures
• Setup and execution of proactive monitoring of environments in the internal and external environment (Azure and OnPremises)
• Expansion of automation in onboarding and offboarding using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Control of (security) patching of basic services
• Creation and maintenance of documentation for technical support processes and procedures
• Proven experience in technical support or a similar role
• Knowledge of Azure and Openshift
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of configuration in IaC (Terraform)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Requirements

• Certifications / prior knowledge in relevant technologies used in the project (OpenShift, Azure, Git, Hashicorp Vault, ArgoCD, Istio, Postgres, Kafka, Keycloak)
• Experience in using logging and monitoring solutions (Elasticsearch)
