DevOps Engineer

Project overview

For deployment with our client in Zurich, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement automation solutions for the management and optimization of Microsoft Entra ID and related services (IaC Terraform, APIs with Go, App Registration, Enterprise Apps, CA Policies, Administrative Units etc.)
• Develop, implement, and maintain authentication and authorization flows (OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect) for Single Sign-On (SSO) and other applications
• Develop conceptual specifications for the various OAuth2/SAML flows, including their implementation in the various applications
• Create, implement, and continuously optimize authentication and authorization rules, including automated tests and monitoring
• Manage and optimize Azure and Microsoft 365 services in the area of identity management and security
• Contribute current news on hardening Entra ID and further developing a monitoring framework for configuration
• Create documentation and train internal teams on Entra ID and DevOps topics

Requirements

• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and its functions (e.g., Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Application Proxy)
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools such as CI/CD, GitLab, Terraform, Go, Python or Bash
• Understanding of network security, authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect), and IAM standards
• Experience with cloud technologies, especially Microsoft Azure and ideally also Microsoft 365
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a structured, self-reliant way of working
• We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer for the further development and expansion of our Microsoft Azure platform in the Azure Basis Team
• Several years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure
• Sound knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Very good knowledge of Azure basic services and experience in applying cloud security technologies
• German: C1 – Expert language use
• English: B2 – Upper Intermediate – First (FCE)
• No subcontracting allowed!
