Project overview

Our client, a large international IT service provider, is looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for a project in the defense sector with fluent German and English skills and the highest possible coverage of the requirements profile below.

Please note that our client is very price-sensitive and, in addition to technical expertise, places a primary focus on the hourly rate expectation (purely remote deployment).

The DevOps team is responsible for the operation and ongoing development of an open-source cloud platform.

Skills

• Kubernetes or comparable container technologies
• Scripting with Go, Python, or Bash
• Automation and automated deployments (Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, Helm)
• CI/CD in Kubernetes environments and repository management
• Git automation (GitHub, GitLab) with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
• Linux
• Monitoring and visualization (Grafana, Prometheus, Instana)
• Platform configuration in the areas of network, application, and security
• Knowledge of Agile methods and Scrum events
