For a demanding project within a large IT service provider in the healthcare sector, we are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer / System Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on Kubernetes, container platforms, and application operations.

The focus is on the stable operation and further development of containerized applications, as well as the automation of operational processes in a modern DevOps environment. The role includes both project work and support for regular operations.

Responsibilities

Requirements Profile

• Building and further developing secure and scalable services based on Kubernetes
• Deployment, operation, and support of applications using Docker and Helm Charts
• Automation and optimization of operational processes in the DevOps environment
• Further development and support of CI/CD pipelines
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Incident and problem management within the scope of 2nd level support
• Collaboration with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure stable application operation

Requirements

Remuneration Package

• Several years of experience in operating Linux/Unix systems
• Very good knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, Shell)
• Practical experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with container technologies, especially Docker
• Knowledge in the area of virtualized systems
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps principles
• Independent and structured way of working
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, insurance, public sector)
• Knowledge of GitOps approaches
• Experience with monitoring and observability solutions
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
