Digital Payment Expert | Leverkusen

Responsibilities

• Support the client in designing solutions for digital payment processes, especially online payments, mobile wallets, real-time payments, and payment orchestration
• Identify and document gaps based on captured requirements and develop solutions according to industry standards and best practices
• Create design documents, especially functional specifications, integration specifications for identified gaps, and program-related documentation
• Support during the build and test phases to ensure consistency between design and implementation
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for digital payment topics and provide expertise and advice to project stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Treasury, IT, and Compliance to ensure end-to-end integration and data consistency across various systems
• Design and validate the digital payment solution according to the program methodology and business requirements

Requirements

• Experience with the SAP payment solution SAP Digital Payments Add-on
• In-depth knowledge of digital payment technologies such as Payment Gateways, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), Digital Wallets
• Experience with payment orchestration platforms
• Experience in defining and optimizing end-to-end payment flows, especially in authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
• Good technical knowledge of APIs, webhooks, and integration middleware
• Experience in regulated environments, especially in Financial Services, Pharma, and Insurance
• Familiarity with fraud prevention and tokenization solutions
