Electrical Engineer – Planning and Construction Supervision Data Center

Project overview

Responsibility for the planning, coordination, and implementation of electrical systems in data center projects

Development, testing, and optimization of technical concepts for medium and low-voltage systems, UPS systems, emergency power supply, switchgear, power distribution, lighting, grounding, and building automation

Creation, review, and approval of planning documents, calculations, load analyses, and technical specifications

Support of tenders and technical evaluation of bids

Construction supervision and site management with responsibility for quality, costs, deadlines, and compliance with technical requirements

Accompanying commissioning, functional tests, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), commissioning, and acceptance

Requirements

Several years of experience in the planning and realization of data center projects

Sound knowledge of medium and low-voltage technology, UPS systems, emergency power supply, and power distribution

Experience in both technical planning and site management or construction supervision of electrical installations

Sound knowledge in the areas of medium voltage, low voltage, UPS systems, emergency power supply, power distribution, building automation, and critical infrastructure

Experience in project management of complex construction and infrastructure projects, including cost, schedule, quality, and risk management

Good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, standards, and guidelines

Experience with commissioning, commissioning, and acceptance of technical systems in highly available infrastructures
