Electrical Designer

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an Electrical Designer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Independent creation and maintenance of wiring documents, circuit diagrams, and manufacturing documentation using an E-CAD tool, as well as selection of electrical components, ensuring complete and standards-compliant documentation.
• Independent evaluation and processing of assigned work packages, considering deadlines, quality, and cost targets.
• Analysis and evaluation of electrical manufacturing problems, as well as development and documentation of suitable technical solution proposals within the scope of system integration.
• Planning, coordination, and implementation of defined work packages in coordination with adjacent departments and project teams.
• Revision and updating of E-CAD manufacturing documents based on change requests, ensuring consistent and high-quality documentation.
• Performing obsolescence management through technical evaluation and selection of suitable replacement components, as well as associated technical documentation and updating of relevant design documents.

Requirements

• Profound project experience in electrical design or creation of circuit diagrams and wiring documents.
• Very good knowledge of using E-CAD systems (e.g., Engineering Base, EPLAN Electric, Zuken, or comparable).
• Good knowledge of electrical standards and guidelines and their application in design.
• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and manufacturing documents.
• MS Office and SAP
