Project overview

Service Description

• Maintenance and further development of Yocto layers, BitBake recipes, and KAS configurations
• Update and maintenance of Linux kernel, U-Boot, Device Trees, and BSPs
• Integration of board-specific customizations for ARM64 and x86 platforms such as i.MX8 or Raspberry Pi
• Analysis and resolution of build, boot, and runtime problems under Embedded Linux
• Execution of kernel and software updates as well as security fixes using CVE assessment
• Development of reproducible build processes with CI/CD tools like Bitbucket Pipelines
• Implementation of Secure Boot, TPM, UEFI requirements including signed images
• Creation of technical documentation for releases, processes, and system architecture

• Experience in development with Embedded Linux systems such as Yocto Project/OpenEmbedded
• Expertise in Yocto layering, BitBake (.bb/.bbappend), KAS, and SRCREV handling
• Routine handling of kernel configurations, Device Tree adjustments, and U-Boot integration
• Knowledge of ARM64/x86 platforms such as i.MX8, Intel, or Raspberry Pi, as well as container runtimes
• Knowledge of RootFS structure, boot processes, and Board Support Package integration
• Practical experience with SWUpdate mechanisms and handling SBOM/CycloneDX
• Programming skills in Shell scripting and Python for process automation required
