Embedded Software Engineer or SW Architect / BSP Developer (Qualcomm, QNX)

Project overview

For a state-of-the-art Automotive HPC (High Performance Computer) project in the area of driver assistance systems and central vehicle computers, we are looking for experienced Embedded Software Engineers or Software Architects with a focus on QNX, Qualcomm platforms, and hardware-near software development.

Responsibilities

• Development and architecture of safety-relevant embedded software for HPC platforms
• Participation in the Board Support Package (BSP) environment
• Driver development for Qualcomm SoCs
• Integration and control of hardware interfaces
• Software bring-up on new target hardware
• Support in the development of Functional Safety-compliant software components
• Definition and coordination of technical architectures
• Close collaboration with development, integration, and test teams

Requirements

• Several years of experience in embedded software development with C/C++
• Very good knowledge of QNX
• Experience with POSIX-based systems
• Experience with Qualcomm SoCs or Qualcomm BSPs
• Knowledge in the area of Board Support Packages (BSP)
• Experience with Linux/Embedded systems
• Know-how in the area of Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
• Experience with hypervisor technologies
