Energy Manager

Project overview

We are currently seeking support for projects in Düsseldorf and surrounding areas as an Energy Manager for consulting and real estate projects. We advise owners, users, and investors of commercial real estate on digitalization and efficiency improvements in buildings. The tasks include project management, including coordination of all project participants, introduction and operation of energy management systems according to ISO 50001 with internal & external audits, as well as construction supervision of real estate projects for efficiency measures and energy monitoring.

FIELD OF ACTIVITY

• ENERGY MANAGEMENT
• Project management and consulting on the further development of an energy management system according to ISO 50001 (EMS) in a large company
• Document creation within the scope of the energy management system
• Coordination of all participants within the company and external service providers
• Planning and implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency
• Economic calculation and data analysis for measures
• Conducting internal audits and preparing and supporting external audits
• ENERGY MONITORING
• Project management of projects for the installation of measuring technology and energy monitoring systems in commercial buildings as a partner of the building owner or operator.
• Coordination of clients, planners, specialist companies, including performance monitoring on-site.
• Conducting and documenting meetings with project participants.
• Preparation and execution of acceptances for quality assurance

Requirements

• EXPERTISE & EXPERIENCE
• Required:
• Building technology: Theoretical and practical knowledge of system structure, functions, system types
• Measuring technology: Theoretical and practical knowledge of system structure, communication protocols, installation of measuring devices, network planning.
• Energy management ISO 50001: Theoretical and practical knowledge of ISO 50001, project workflow, measures, and methods
• Project management: Theoretical and practical knowledge of project planning, schedule planning, documentation, presentation to demanding clients
• Certification as an Energy Manager according to ISO 50001
• Practical experience in setting up or operating energy management systems according to ISO 50001: min. 3 years

• Energy law: Knowledge of German and EU energy law (min. GEG, EnEfG, EPBD) and ability to derive measures from experience
• Energy consulting: Theoretical and practical knowledge of funding programs, requirements, energy assessment of building technology, creation of energy reports according to DIN V 18599, experience with software like evebi/eCAD/deriving measures
• Practical experience: min. 2 years in a comparable role

• EDUCATION
• Min. Technician or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Energy Technology, Building Services Engineering, Business Engineering, or comparable
• PERIOD & AVAILABILITY
• Period: * to 12-2027, extension possible
• Availability: 5 days/week, 8 hours/day, approx. 80% Remote Work
• Area of deployment: Düsseldorf and surrounding area, national travel by arrangement
