Enterprise Network Architect | Agentic AI & Network Automation

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Network Architect (m/f/d) who will significantly support the transformation of a classic network operation into a modern, highly automated platform organization.

Responsibilities

Analysis and further development of the existing enterprise network architecture

Conception of a roadmap for the transformation from classic operating models to an automated platform organization

Development and evaluation of Agentic AI approaches for Network Operations

Conception of automated processes for monitoring, error analysis, and incident handling

Further development of Zero Trust and ZTNA architectures

Integration of network, security, and monitoring systems into a central operational strategy

Identification and implementation of automation potentials in the network and security environment

Collaboration with internal teams and external service providers

Requirements

Experience as an Enterprise Network Architect or in comparable architecture roles

Sound knowledge in the enterprise network environment

Very good experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Zscaler, and Zero Trust architectures

Experience with SD-WAN solutions, ideally VMware VeloCloud

Knowledge in the Aruba environment (Switching, Wireless, Access Points)

Experience in network automation and infrastructure automation

Know-how in AIOps, Agentic AI, or AI-supported operating models

Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ServiceNow AI/Agentic AI, SolarWinds, Grafana, PRTG, or Tufin

Very good English skills

As part of a comprehensive modernization program, existing network and security structures are to be further developed and made future-proof. A particular focus is placed on the introduction of Agentic AI and automation concepts to optimize operational processes, proactively detect disruptions, and sustainably reduce manual effort in network operations.

The existing environment includes, among other things, Palo Alto Firewalls, Zscaler, SD-WAN technologies, and Aruba-based network infrastructures. The goal is to develop an architecture and roadmap for an intelligent, largely autonomous network operation using modern technologies such as Microsoft Copilot and ServiceNow Agentic AI.
