Enterprise Risk Management Consultant

Project overview

For our client in Hanau, we are looking for an Enterprise Risk Management Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Conducting and consolidating group-wide risk surveys and preparing the group risk report, including management summary
• Technical review and assessment of risk information regarding completeness, consistency, and potential duplicate entries
• Conception, preparation, and moderation of risk workshops, as well as documentation of results and recommended actions
• Analysis and harmonization of existing risk registers from different organizational units
• Analysis and further development of the risk management methodology, including risk assessments, risk categories, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
• Preparation of optimization proposals and technical requirements for the further development of Enterprise Risk Management
• Technical support for the introduction of a new ERM tool, including project planning, progress assessment, and risk management
• Preparation of technical migration, test, and validation concepts, as well as review of test results and documentation of deviations
• Consulting project participants, as well as preparation of decision-making bases and recommended actions

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), risk controlling, or corporate governance
• Sound knowledge of common risk management standards and frameworks, e.g., COSO ERM and ISO 31000
• Experience with group-wide risk surveys, risk consolidations, and the preparation of risk and management reports
• Experience in moderating risk workshops and in harmonizing risk registers
• Knowledge in the further development of risk assessment methods, risk categories, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
• Experience in transformation or implementation projects in the area of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) or ERM
• Experience in technical support or implementation of ERM or GRC systems, as well as in the preparation of requirement specifications, test concepts, and acceptance documentation
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with risk management, GRC, or ERM systems; knowledge of reporting and analysis tools is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills
