Developer / DevOps – PHP, RabbitMQ, GitLab, Pimcore 11, Vue, React, TypeScript

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Developer / DevOps (m/f/d) for a full-time project in backend development and DevOps operations. The project runs from January to December 2027 with flexible remote work and occasional on-site appointments.

Your tasks include programming and implementing technical components in a complex application based on PHP, Pimcore 11 (Symfony framework), MariaDB, and RabbitMQ. You will develop and optimize backend features, extend the CMS, and implement real-time interfaces as well as data pipelines. A focus is on implementing message-based communication between services with RabbitMQ and data modeling of relational databases.

Further responsibilities include connecting REST interfaces, checking OpenAPI specifications, creating automated tests, and code reviews. You will participate in the DevOps model to ensure stability, performance, and data quality in 24/7 operation – including monitoring, logging, and automation. You will also create technical documentation and release packages via GitLab pipelines.

At least 3 years of productive experience in PHP, API design (REST/OpenAPI), automated deployment with GitLab pipelines, as well as RabbitMQ and message-based architecture are required. Knowledge of Vue, React, and TypeScript is advantageous. You will work according to standardized development guidelines and adhere to the client's specifications.
