ETL / Data Warehouse Developer

For a demanding client project in the Swiss financial environment, we are looking for an experienced ETL / Data Warehouse Developer to support the further development and stable operation of an Oracle-based Data Warehouse platform.

The position combines technical development tasks with responsibility for data quality, performance, and productive operation.

Responsibilities

• Development, optimization, and maintenance of existing ETL and data integration processes
• Further development of complex data warehouse structures and data models
• Creation and optimization of demanding SQL queries
• Ensuring data quality, consistency, and historization
• Analysis and resolution of performance bottlenecks
• Support of productive operation and error analysis
• Continuous improvement of existing processes and technical workflows
• Collaboration with other data warehouse and IT specialists

Requirements

• Several years of experience as an ETL or Data Warehouse Developer
• Very good SQL knowledge and experience with complex data models
• Sound knowledge of Oracle databases and Oracle-based DWH solutions
• Experience in data integration, historization, data quality, and performance optimization
• Understanding of productive IT systems as well as operational and support processes
• Independent and structured way of working with a high awareness of quality
• Willingness to take responsibility for the sustainable further development of a productive data platform
• Banking or financial services experience is an advantage
