Job description
We are looking for experienced ETL Data Warehouse Developers with expertise in Ab Initio, Oracle databases, and Data Warehouse architectures for a long-term project in the financial services sector. The role involves full-time engagement, primarily remote with minimal on-site presence.
Project overview
For a long-term project with one of our existing clients in the financial services sector, we are looking for several experienced ETL Data Warehouse Developers with sound expertise in Ab Initio, Oracle databases, and Data Warehouse architectures.
Framework Conditions
- Project Start: 01.01.2027
- Duration: 6 months + extension option
- Utilization: Full-time
- Remote: predominantly remote, only 2x on-site per year
- Project Language: German and English
Responsibilities
- Participation in various agile projects of the "Data Warehouse / Strategic Information Management" program
- Conception, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and go-live of ETL processes with Ab Initio
- Development and optimization of existing ETL processes and Data Warehouse structures
- Analysis and modeling of Data Warehouse data structures
- Execution of database and performance optimizations
- Coaching, training, and technical support of internal employees in the use of Ab Initio
- Active technical and conceptual consulting in the area of Data Warehousing and ETL

- Sound, demonstrable project experience in ETL development and ETL design with Ab Initio
- Good knowledge of Data Warehouse architectures
- Project experience with Oracle 12c under Unix AIX
- Experience in database tuning and performance optimization
- Sound SQL and PL/SQL knowledge
- Experience in data modeling of Data Warehouse structures with PowerDesigner
- Industry experience in the financial services sector
- Experience in the conception, implementation, testing, and go-live of ETL processes
