Responsibilities
- Advise a global consumer goods company on developing how the future artwork/DAM ecosystem connects Marketing & Sales with R&D and other relevant functions
- Digital artwork & asset management from a workflow and technology perspective in Marketing & Sales (M&S)
- Independent and objective evaluation of its artwork and DAM ecosystem I
- Identification of the actual causes of friction along the entire artwork and DAM value chain
- Definition of the target process, capability model, relevant KPIs, governance structure, and decision-making and responsibility rights
- Determination of where orchestration should be located in the future within the interplay of DAM, artwork platform, and adjacent systems
- Evaluation of various target state models with regard to asset volume, regulatory requirements, and the customer's operational environment
- In addition, the economic benefit (business case) should be quantified and a practice-oriented roadmap developed
Requirements
My advantages:
- Experience in packaging-intensive, international, and/or regulated consumer goods environments
- Proven experience with enterprise-wide Digital Asset Management (DAM) and artwork/label management platforms in productive operating environments
- Sound understanding of print-ready artworks, packaging variants, regulatory texts, symbols, barcodes, declarations, approval and review processes (proofing), and traceability of versions and changes
- Experience in the conception or evaluation of integrations between DAM, artwork, PLM, ERP systems, and supplier portals
- Fluent English skills
