Expert for Energy Industry Billing and Schleupen Migration

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for an expert in energy industry billing and Schleupen migration.

Project Goal: The goal is the functional further development, stabilization, harmonization, and quality assurance of energy industry billing processes within the scope of a Schleupen introduction and data migration. The assignment will take place in a project context with a focus on electricity and gas billing as well as payment transactions and balancing.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of existing billing processes for electricity and gas.
• Collection, clarification, and documentation of functional requirements.
• Evaluation of functional impacts on payment transactions and balancing requirements.
• Identification of digitalization and optimization potentials in billing processes.
• Functional consulting for data migration to Schleupen.
• Validation of billing-relevant migration objects.
• Creation of functional concepts within the system landscape.
• Creation of functional test cases.
• Execution and evaluation of functional tests.
• Analysis of billing errors and billing differences.
• Review of regulatory requirements.
• Derivation of functional corrective measures.
• Creation and maintenance of functional documentation.
• Knowledge transfer to project team and implementation teams.

• Several years of experience in energy industry billing.
• Sound knowledge of B2C and B2B billing processes.
• Sound experience with SAP IS-U in energy industry billing.
• Knowledge of Schleupen is desirable.
• Knowledge of energy industry data formats.
• Experience in functional data migration projects.
• Experience in creating and executing functional tests.
• Understanding of payment transactions and balancing requirements in the energy industry environment.
• Analytical competence and structured working method.
• Very good German language skills at C1 or C2 level.
