Administration and troubleshooting of load balancer systems, operation and further development of Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and support for automating operational and administrative processes.
Project overview
Administration and troubleshooting of load balancer systems
Operation and further development of Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
Analysis and resolution of security and network disruptions
Support for the automation of operational and administrative processes
Implementation of security policies, rule set optimizations, and change requests
Performance and availability management of critical network and security systems
Creation of technical documentation and operational concepts
Requirements
+ good knowledge of load balancer technologies (especially F5)
+ very good knowledge of Palo Alto Network Firewalls
+ good knowledge of Web Application Firewalls
+ good knowledge in automation and scripting with (e.g. Python, REST APIs, Ansible)
+ Confident handling of Git and GitOps principles
+ Experience in CI/CD - Tools (e.g. ArgoCD)
+ Experience with container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes)
+ Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), e.g. with Terraform or comparable tools
