Automotive Engineer E/E Vehicle Integration & Test Engineer

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced automotive engineer for our Flash Support Team to assist with the development and commissioning of pre-series, prototype, and development vehicles. The position is limited to 10-12 months and requires full-time on-site presence.

Your tasks include the modification, networking, and wiring of vehicles, as well as support in commissioning technology carriers and prototypes with a focus on power electronics, electric motors, and combustion engine vehicles. You will be responsible for the setup, commissioning, and flashing of hardware, software, and interface environments. Furthermore, you will conduct tests on vehicle components, analyze and resolve hardware and software issues, and build test and testing rigs according to specifications.

We expect sound knowledge in vehicle construction, a good understanding of E/E integration, and experience in bus communication (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet). Flashing and commissioning of control units should be familiar to you. Manual skills such as crimping and soldering are required. Careful and structured working methods are essential.

Knowledge in module development and experience with data loggers are advantageous. You will work independently throughout the entire development process from the concept phase to series production in close coordination with contractors and the team.

Requirements

Fluent German and English skills (at least B2 level). The work location is 100% on-site. Start date: as soon as possible.
