Project overview

+ Independent scheduling and monitoring of assigned production areas using ERP, APS, and shop floor management

+ Independent identification of improvement potentials to increase schedule adherence and utilization within the assigned production area, development of concepts, and presentation to those responsible for the production area.

+ Early recognition of unsolvable schedule delays and proactive identification and communication of new schedules

+ Execution of shop floor management

+ Operational conflict resolution to ensure customer deadlines in close cooperation with production, purchasing, and project coordinators

+ Review, decision, and execution of order cancellations

Requirements

Expert knowledge in Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) and several years of practical experience in production planning, detailed planning, capacity planning, and manufacturing control.

In-depth experience in the introduction, optimization, or operational use of APS solutions in a manufacturing environment.

In-depth experience in the analysis, use, and derivation of measures from production and planning key figures (KPI control).

Experience in shop floor management and coordination between production, work preparation, purchasing, and supply chain.

Completed technical degree (e.g., mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production technology) or comparable technical training with further education as a master craftsman or technician.

Understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows in discrete manufacturing.

Confident reading and understanding of technical drawings.
