Freelance Consultant – Strategic AI Consulting | Agentic Architecture & Data Governance

Project overview

For an exciting project in the pharmaceutical environment, we are looking for an experienced freelance consultant with in-depth expertise in agentic AI systems, software architecture, and data governance.

As part of a digital innovation initiative, you will support the technical evaluation and conceptual further development of agentic software architectures, as well as the development of security and governance concepts for handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of existing technical approaches, architectures, dependencies, and risks
• Conceptual design of agentic AI architectures, including orchestration, tool usage, observability, and security
• Development of AI Guardrails and security concepts for agentic systems
• Conception of data governance frameworks for the pharmaceutical context, including data classification, data protection, and Responsible AI
• Evaluation of regulatory requirements and derivation of technical recommendations
• Preparation and technical support of expert workshops, as well as documentation of results and recommended actions

• In-depth experience in AI Consulting, AI Architecture, or Software Architecture
• Expertise in agentic AI systems and their architectural design
• Knowledge of AI Security, Guardrails, data protection, and data governance
• Experience in handling sensitive data and ideally in the pharmaceutical or life sciences environment
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues in a structured manner and derive strategic recommendations
• Experience in moderating technical workshops and creating well-founded architecture and governance documentation
• Remote share: 100% remote, with agreed on-site workshops in Ingelheim
• Workshop date: Calendar week 42
