The role involves analyzing current processes, identifying weaknesses, and developing a roadmap for SAP implementation and reporting.

Hello everyone,
we are looking for a "Freelance - Generalist for SAP and Process Transformation" for a client in South America.
The client's Brazilian subsidiary is undergoing restructuring with new management. SAP is currently only partially used; many processes run via Excel and are not booked promptly. The goal is to establish core processes cleanly and comprehensibly in SAP and to enable reliable group reporting to Germany.
Responsibilities
- Recording and evaluating the status quo in procurement, demand planning, production (PP/PI), logistics, warehouse/inventory, sales, and accounting
- Identifying weak points, e.g., in goods receipt and usage, ingredient postings, bills of materials, production orders, consumptions, and returns processing
- Short-term measures to stabilize booking discipline and inventory transparency
- Evaluation of controlling and conception of a template-compliant re-engineering (product costing, cost objects, profit and loss accounting)
- Conception of master data and hierarchies (product, customer hierarchy) as a basis for group reporting
- Development of an implementable roadmap together with the headquarters in Germany
- Ensuring bilingual customizing specifications
- Interface between the local team, management, internal audit, and headquarters
Requirements
Desirable:
- Broad SAP generalist knowledge across production, logistics, and finance modules (MM, PP/PI, SD, WM/EWM as well as FI/CO)
- Sound understanding of how production and logistics must be structured in SAP to be traceable in controlling
- Experience in product costing and the evaluation of sales and materials management processes
- Experience in process analysis, as-is recording, and roadmap development
- Fluent Portuguese and English
- Willingness to work on-site in Brazil
- German language skills for coordination with headquarters
- Industry experience in the food industry
- Experience with group reporting and master data governance
- Intercultural competence: understanding of Brazilian business culture and German work methods
