Job description
We are looking for an experienced freelance financial accountant / senior accountant for a company in the industrial sector. The focus is on operational closing and the cleanup and optimization of asset accounting.
Responsibilities
Required Skills
- Preparation and support with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Responsibility for general and asset accounting
- Reconciliation and cleanup of balance sheet accounts
- Verification of asset additions, disposals, and transfers
- Execution and verification of depreciation runs
- Creation and documentation of provisions and accruals
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Support with closing audits and cooperation with auditors
- Analysis and cleanup of historically grown booking differences
- Optimization of existing accounting processes
- Several years of operational experience in financial accounting
- Very good HGB knowledge
- In-depth experience in asset accounting
- Very good knowledge of SAP FI / FI-AA
- Closing confidence and hands-on mentality
- Experience in corporate structures with multiple companies
- Very good German language skills
Nice to have
- IFRS experience
- Experience in the manufacturing or industrial sector
- Experience with accounting cleanup or transformation projects
