Project overview

Currently, I am looking for a freelance Finance AI Engineer for my client:

Responsibilities

Must-Haves:

• Support in identifying concrete AI and automation potentials in Accounting, Finance Operations, and Order-to-Cash
• Project-based conception, development, and productive implementation of AI Agents and automated finance workflows
• Participation in the automation of manual and repetitive finance processes
• Support in integrating AI solutions into existing finance systems
• Project-based further development and administration of the finance system landscape with NetSuite as the central ERP system
• Participation in the implementation of automated quality checks and control mechanisms
• Support in ensuring data quality, traceability, and compliance requirements
• Collaboration with Accounting, Treasury, Controlling, and Finance Operations within defined projects
• Assistance in training and enabling finance employees in the practical use of AI solutions
• Support in documenting and continuously optimizing implemented automation solutions
• Demonstrable practical experience in the development and implementation of AI Agents and workflow automations
• Experience in automating finance and accounting processes
• Sound understanding of Finance Operations, Accounting, or Order-to-Cash processes
• Experience with ERP integrations and APIs
• Knowledge of NetSuite, ideally including system administration
• Experience with LLMs, AI agent frameworks, and automation platforms
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or comparable technologies
• Experience with internal controls, authorization concepts, and data quality
