Seeking a freelance Finance & Audit Expert for project-based support in preparing and accompanying external audits, with a focus on financial processes and reporting. The role requires strong SAP B1 and Excel skills, along with HGB and IFRS knowledge.

Responsibilities
Must-Haves:
- Project-based support in the preparation and accompaniment of external audits
- Participation in the compilation, review, and follow-up of audit documents
- Support in coordination with Finance, Accounting, and Business stakeholders
- Participation in the analysis and documentation of relevant financial processes
- Contribution to ensuring data quality and traceability of financial information
- Support with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Participation in the identification and follow-up of audit findings
- Support in the creation of analyses and reports for management and auditors
- Contribution to process improvements within the finance organization
- Several years of experience in audit, auditing, accounting, financial compliance, or internal controls
- Demonstrable experience in audit preparation and audit accompaniment
- HGB and IFRS knowledge
- Experience working with external auditors
- Very good knowledge of SAP Business One (SAP B1)
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Fluent German
- Proficient English in an international corporate environment
- Independent and structured way of working
- High attention to detail
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new project environments
