Currently, I am looking for a freelance Finance Operations Specialist (m/f/d) for my client:

Responsibilities

Must-Haves:

• Project-related support in the analysis and optimization of Procure-to-Pay processes
• Participation in the further development and documentation of release and control processes
• Support in the quality assurance and structuring of supplier master data
• Participation in the review and optimization of processes related to changes in bank details and fraud prevention measures
• Support in the analysis and improvement of payment processes, considering internal control mechanisms (SoD)
• Project-related participation in the optimization of treasury and payment transaction processes
• Support in the analysis of bank reconciliation and liquidity processes
• Participation in the creation and further development of cash reporting structures
• Support in the optimization of cash pooling and intercompany financing processes
• Participation in the analysis and documentation of foreign exchange risks
• Support in the further development of processes related to travel expenses and corporate credit cards
• Participation in the optimization of closing processes in the financial environment
• Support in the documentation, standardization, and improvement of existing finance processes
• Participation in the design and further development of internal control mechanisms
• Support in initiatives for automation and digitalization of manual financial processes
• Several years of practical experience in Finance Operations, Accounts Payable, or Treasury
• Sound knowledge of payment transaction, bank reconciliation, and release processes
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite
• Fluent English skills
• Strong analytical and structured way of working
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new project environments and process landscapes
