For an established certification company, we are currently seeking experienced and approved IATF 16949 3rd Party Certification Auditors for regular, project-based audit assignments in German-speaking countries.

The collaboration is freelance and flexible according to your availability and the respective audit needs.

Responsibilities

Mandatory Requirement

For this mandate, you require a currently valid IATF 16949 3rd Party Auditor Qualification.

Please note: A qualification solely as

is not sufficient for this specific mandate.

• Conducting IATF 16949 3rd Party Certification Audits
• Acting as Lead Auditor and/or Co-Auditor according to your existing approval
• Preparation, execution, and follow-up of certification audits
• Creation of required audit documentation and reports
• Evaluation and documentation of deviations
• If applicable, conducting NC management
• Professional coordination with customers and the certification company
• Audit assignments primarily in Germany or the DACH region
• IATF 16949 1st Party Auditor
• IATF 16949 2nd Party Auditor
• Internal Auditor
• Supplier Auditor
• VDA 6.3 Process Auditor
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor

The specific certification company will be disclosed in the further placement process. Existing mandates and potential conflicts of interest can then be checked before a presentation or engagement.

• Valid approval as an IATF 16949 3rd Party Certification Auditor
• Practical experience with IATF 16949 certification audits
• Ideally, experience as a Lead Auditor
• Sound automotive experience
• Very good German language skills
• Good English language skills
• High willingness to travel within Germany or the DACH region
• Independent and professional way of working
• Willingness for project-based freelance collaboration
• Compliance with the currently applicable IATF Rules regarding independence and potential conflicts of interest
• Freelance, project-based collaboration
• Regular audit opportunities according to need and availability
• Current remuneration basis: approx. EUR 800 per audit day
• Final remuneration and specific assignment conditions will be agreed directly with the certification company
• Travel expenses will be reimbursed additionally according to the certification company's guidelines
• Travel time compensation starting from the second hour of travel
• Additional compensation for NC management provided
• Direct contractual engagement of the auditor by the certification company
