Freelance NDT Inspector with UT2 Certification in Hamm

Project overview

Project Goal: An experienced NDT inspector with a focus on ultrasonic testing (UT) is sought at short notice for a freelance project at HOFFMEIER in Hamm. The assignment will be in the industrial environment of plant and structural engineering, particularly on metallic structures, welded components, and plant and steel construction components.

Responsibilities

• Performing non-destructive testing, especially ultrasonic testing (UT)
• Performing other NDT methods depending on existing qualifications: Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Visual Testing (VT)
• Testing according to test instructions and applicable regulations
• Creation and documentation of NDT test reports and test logs
• Participation in the creation or coordination of test plans
• Collaboration with testing and welding supervision
• Evaluation and documentation of test results
• Support with testing assignments on construction sites if required

Requirements

• Valid UT Level 2 (UT2) certification according to DIN EN ISO 9712 (mandatory)
• Practical experience in non-destructive material testing
• Experience with metallic or welded components
• Independent and conscientious work ethic
• Experience in creating test and findings documentation

Project details

Start ASAP / short notice, workload approx. 3-5 days per week, flexible according to availability.

Work Model: Primarily at the Hamm site, with testing assignments on construction sites as needed. Contract Type: freelance / self-employed activity.

Expected Outcome: Professional execution and documentation of non-destructive testing according to applicable regulations, as well as creation of complete test reports and test logs.
