Senior SAP S/4HANA Utilities Consultant (IM4G, MaKo) | Dresden, 75% remote

Project overview

For a large-scale transformation program in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Utilities Consultant (m/f/d).

The focus is on the implementation and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Utilities (SAP IS-U), including integration with MaCo Cloud (Market Communication Cloud) and MKV Cloud (Meter Data Management Cloud).

The goal is the modernization of device management, market communication (MaKo), and meter operations for the market roles of distribution network operators (VNB) and metering point operators (MSB). You will independently and results-orientedly handle fit/gap analysis, solution design, SAP customizing, and test support.

Responsibilities

• Fit/Gap Analysis and Process Review
• Structured gap analysis of SAP S/4HANA Utilities standard functionality against customer-specific requirements for device management, iM4G processes, and market communication (MaKo)
• Process analysis based on process documentation and stakeholder input
• Fit/Gap analysis report with evaluation of current processes, identified gaps, impact analysis, delta requirements, and improvement recommendations
• Solution Design
• Creation of a functional concept and solution design (functional design) for device management processes, market role-specific workflows (VNB/MSB), and integration scenarios with MaCo Cloud and MKV Cloud
• Solution design document with solution overview, data and process flows, integration dependencies, assumptions, and constraints
• Implementation and Customizing
• Implementation of the approved solution design through SAP customizing and configuration in S/4HANA Utilities, MaCo Cloud, and MKV Cloud
• Technical documentation of all customizing activities, including system, module, and transaction references
• Test Support
• Error analysis and troubleshooting during test phases within the implemented scope
• Documentation in the defect tracking tool with root cause analysis, correction made, and solution status
• Schedule and Collaboration
• Fit/Gap report within 5 working days of start, solution design within 10 working days of approval of the Fit/Gap report, customizing within 5 working days of release of the solution design
• Coordination of results and feedback with the designated client contact person
• Results-oriented assignment: You determine the method, type, timing, and order of work independently
