For a demanding software development project, we are looking for an experienced Fullstack Java Software DevOps Engineer with a passion for complex technical challenges, modern application development, and close collaboration within an agile team.

In this role, you will further develop frontend and backend applications, contribute your experience in architecture and implementation, and, together with the team, ensure that the applications can be operated stably, performantly, and future-proof.

• Development and further development of modern frontend and backend applications
• Development of future-proof solutions together with business departments and IT architecture
• Improvement of existing applications and identification of new technical possibilities
• Participation in an agile DevOps team with responsibility for development and operations
• Ensuring stability, performance, and reliability of the supported systems
• Active shaping of technical solution approaches for complex requirements
• Close collaboration with developers, architects, and other stakeholders
• Completed training in software development or equivalent education or further training
• Sound experience in fullstack software development with Java
• Very good knowledge of Spring Boot and Kafka
• Experience with GitHub, Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes, and database technologies
• Experience in the development and operation of applications in a DevOps environment
• Understanding of stable, performant, and maintainable software solutions
• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban
• Team-oriented personality with a passion for shared goals and pragmatic solutions
• Very good German and English skills
• Mindset according to principles such as DevOps, Added Value, Reduce Batch Size, and Fail Fast
