Seeking a freelance Backend/DevOps Engineer with strong Go (Golang) experience to act as an interface between software development and DevOps, ensure quality gates in deployment, and support development teams. The role involves optimizing development and operational processes and improving CI/CD pipelines.

For our client, I am currently looking for a Backend / DevOps Engineer.
Framework:

Responsibilities
Profile:
- Interface between software development and DevOps responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with quality gates in the deployment process
- Supporting test management in the setup and operation of test systems and test environments
- Supporting software development with technical questions and deployments
- Collaboration with development teams to optimize development and operational processes
- Participation in the continuous improvement of CI/CD and deployment processes
- Sound experience in developing microservices with asynchronous communication
- Comprehensive knowledge and practical project experience in development with Go (Golang)
- Relevant experience with software development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
- Several years of experience with Helm and OpenShift
- Several years of experience with Git workflows and version control
- Experience with agile working methods and Jira workflows (Scrum / Kanban)
- Independent, structured, and careful way of working
- Proactive communication and strong teamwork skills
- High willingness to learn and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas and technologies
