Hardware Developer Embedded Systems

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced hardware developer for the development and optimization of hardware solutions in the field of industrial and safety-critical applications. The location is in North Rhine-Westphalia with a hybrid working model.

Your tasks include the development and optimization of hardware solutions for demanding industrial applications. You will build prototypes and carry out extensive functional, verification, and validation tests. Another focus is on the development and support of test systems and test environments for hardware and software components. You will actively support certification and release processes, taking into account relevant safety standards, and work closely with the product management, development, IoT, and cyber-security teams.

For this position, you should have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering, technical computer science, or a comparable technical field. Experience in the development of electronic assemblies or embedded hardware systems in an industrial environment is desirable. You have good knowledge of embedded Linux environments and programming experience in C/C++. Furthermore, good German and English skills, both written and spoken, are required.

You will be part of an innovative team working on the technological further development of hardware platforms while adhering to the highest safety standards.
