HR IT Expert – SAP Concur, Interfaces & Cloud Web Services

Project overview

For our client in the automotive supplier industry, we are looking for an HR IT Expert – SAP Concur, Interfaces & Cloud Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Project & Rollout Management: Planning, steering, and implementation of global SAP Concur projects within the given framework (scope, time, budget) as well as management of milestones, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Demand Management & Process Optimization: Support with requirements management (effort estimation, capacities, prioritization) as well as analysis and optimization of business travel processes, travel policies, and approval workflows.
• Solution Design & Configuration: Conception, setup, and support of SAP Concur and connected travel management systems.
• Interfaces & Integration: Maintenance and further development of interfaces between SAP Concur, SAP HCM/ERP, financial systems, IAM solutions, and other cloud applications. Implementation based on REST/SOAP web services, APIs, standard connectors, middleware/integration platforms, as well as SFTP, file-based, and batch interfaces.
• Data Quality & Security by Design: Ensuring data quality, reliable data exchange, and error handling. Consideration of Security by Design (role/authorization concepts, encryption, authentication, data protection/compliance, security assessments).
• Operational Support & Methodology: Support of day-to-day business (incidents, service requests, problems), coordination of external partners, test/release support, and participation in Scrum events and backlog maintenance in JIRA. Documentation of all configurations and interfaces.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the IT environment with SAP Concur and Cloud Web Services.
• Education: University degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Expertise SAP Concur: Several years of experience in the HR IT sector and in-depth knowledge of SAP Concur (ideally from international rollouts).
• Module Knowledge: Very good knowledge in several modules such as Concur Expense, Concur Travel, Concur Invoice, Concur Request, as well as Reporting & Analytics.
• Process & System Integration:
• Strong knowledge of SAP HCM master data and its integration with HR, financial, and travel processes.
• Experience with ERP/Financial integrations and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Practical knowledge of REST, SOAP, APIs, JSON, XML, data mapping, SFTP, middleware, and cloud integration architectures (SaaS/PaaS).
• Security & Methodology:
• Experience with Security by Design, Cloud Security, data protection, and authorization concepts.
• Experience with agile and classic project methodologies/tools (e.g., JIRA) as well as test, release, and IT service management.
• Soft Skills & Languages:
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach, high initiative, and strong communication skills.
• Very good English (German skills are an advantage) as well as experience in collaborating with international/global teams.
