Job description
Experienced Chemical Process Engineer sought for conceptual design of cGMP-compliant API production facilities in a pharmaceutical environment, leading an engineering team.
Project overview
For a demanding project in the pharmaceutical environment, we are looking for an experienced chemical process engineer. You will be involved in the conceptual design of cGMP-compliant production facilities for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) starting immediately and will lead an engineering team.
Your tasks include the planning of production facilities from API manufacturing to filter drying and filling. You will create layouts with building structure, room dimensions, and material flows, develop process flow diagrams, and equipment lists. Further focal points include HAZID analyses, hazard mitigation strategies, and containment concepts for highly potent substances. You will assess operating material consumption, create technical specifications, and coordinate interfaces within the engineering team.
We expect a completed degree in chemical process engineering or a comparable qualification. Several years of experience in the conceptual design of API production facilities in a cGMP environment are required. Knowledge of containment concepts for highly potent active ingredients and experience in team leadership are necessary. You have very good German skills and fluent English, both written and spoken.
