Maintenance Mechanic (m/f/d) - GMP / Maintenance / German

Background: The "Operations & Maintain Assets" organization is responsible for ensuring building operations and providing services in the maintenance sector at the Basel and Kaiseraugst sites.

The Technical Solutions and Maintenance division offers the best technical solutions and workshop services.

We are looking for a Maintenance Specialist (Instandhaltungsmechaniker) (m/f) in the "Production and Development" area for the Basel/Kaiseraugst site. The place of work is in Basel, with occasional work assignments in Kaiseraugst possible. As a Maintenance Specialist (Instandhaltungsmechaniker) (m/f), you will be responsible for:

The perfect candidate: Possesses several years of professional experience in maintenance, as well as further training as a maintenance specialist. GMP knowledge, English skills, and fluent German in spoken and written form complete the profile.

• Troubleshooting, maintenance, and modifications of production equipment (control, membrane, gassing, and floor valves)
• Mechanical seals: Installation / Removal / Damage analysis
• Maintenance, upkeep, and troubleshooting of vacuum pumps in laboratories and production
• Maintenance and upkeep of safety valves and rupture discs
• Operation of tool issue including order processing

Responsibilities

• Spare parts management in the area of responsibility
• Support Engineering with know-how
• Installation and removal work
• Troubleshooting
• Professional execution of work in the trade
• Perform troubleshooting, overhauls, maintenance, and upkeep
• GMP-compliant documentation of activities
• Support new and renovation projects
• Creation and development of internal offers
• Execution of activities in sterile areas Zones A-D
• Service, material, and spare parts ordering
• Work according to SGU regulations
• Authorities according to PST signature regulations
• Adherence to and support of Roche values according to the PS Operating Model
• Independent completion of training objects in Cornerstone
• Further training as a maintenance specialist
• Completed technical vocational training in mechanics (e.g., mechanic, polymechanic, maintenance mechanic)
• Several years of professional experience in maintenance
• Fluent German in spoken and written form B2
