Project overview

For the expansion of an existing Azure Hub-and-Spoke architecture, an experienced Microsoft Cloud & Data Architect (m/f/d) is sought. The goal is the integration of Microsoft Foundry AI into the existing platform landscape as well as the setup of a Microsoft Fabric environment as a central data platform for analytics, reporting, and AI use cases.

• Integration of Microsoft Foundry AI into the existing Azure Hub-and-Spoke architecture
• Setup and implementation of a Microsoft Fabric platform (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Pipelines)
• Conception and implementation of data integrations, especially SAP ? Fabric
• Setup of a central Data Lake for future AI and analytics use cases
• Consulting and technical guidance of the internal team
• Architecture design, technical governance, and best practice recommendations
• Operational support during implementation and troubleshooting
• Documentation and technical handover of the solutions
• Several years of experience with Microsoft Azure architectures
• Deep know-how in Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Data Engineering
• Experience with Azure AI Foundry / Azure AI Services / LLM platforms
• Knowledge in SAP data integration and Data Lake architectures
• Hands-on mentality with architect know-how
• Ability to technically guide and empower teams
• Independent, pragmatic, and solution-oriented way of working
• Trustworthy team player with high implementation competence
