Offer

We offer an exciting interim mandate as an Interim Consultant Export Control.

• Consulting and support on all issues of international export control.
• Assessment and implementation of relevant US export control regulations, particularly ITAR and EAR, as well as European and, if applicable, German regulations.
• Export control classification and assessment of technical products, software, applications, and technologies.
• Assessment of technology transfers and cross-border transmissions of technical data.
• Support with questions regarding customs, import, and export, as well as compliance with relevant licensing requirements.
• Analysis of existing processes and development of pragmatic solutions to ensure export control compliance.
• Advising internal departments on export control legal requirements.
• Sound practical experience in export control and very good knowledge of the relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Good knowledge of US export control law, particularly ITAR and ideally EAR, as well as EU export control law.
• Experience in the classification of software, technical products, and technologies is particularly important.
• Knowledge in the area of technology transfer, customs, and international trade is an advantage.
• Experience in the armament or defense industry is desirable, but not a mandatory requirement.
