Interim Accountant

Project overview

Support financial accounting within the scope of a client project in the Rhine-Main area.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Participate in internal and external monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS, partly with US GAAP reference
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including execution of payment runs
• Maintain master data and check current accounts in SAP FI (R3)
• Create P&L analyses and profitability evaluations per profit center in coordination with controlling
• Prepare statistics and ad-hoc reports for management
• Participate in the annual planning process (AOP) and ongoing forecasts, including cash and collections forecasts
• Manage systems such as Hyperion and create reconciliations and maintain the travel expense program
• Act as a contact person for external service providers in fleet management and coordinate with the tax advisor
• Contribute to process optimizations and cross-departmental projects
• Completed commercial apprenticeship and additional qualification as a certified accountant
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a manufacturing company, experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
• Solid knowledge of accounting according to HGB as well as US GAAP and/or IFRS
• Confident use of SAP R/3 FI as well as modern consolidation and reporting tools such as FCCS, PBCS, Hyperion, Blackline or Workiva
• Confident use of tools for travel expense accounting, ideally Concur
• Fluent German and English skills
