Responsibilities

Area of Responsibility

• Conception and architecture of cloud solutions for existing applications
• Development and optimization of tools and frameworks for deployment and platform management
• Creation, maintenance, and further development of automated build and deployment pipelines
• Support in migrating applications to modern cloud environments
• Ensuring scalability, performance, high availability, and backup and recovery processes
• Implementation and improvement of cloud security concepts
• Analysis, troubleshooting, and sustainable resolution of technical disruptions
• Advising internal teams on architecture standards and best practices

• Several years of practical experience as a Cloud Engineer in complex IT landscapes
• Very good knowledge of AWS
• Sound experience with Kubernetes and Terraform
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code
• Good knowledge in the areas of networking, security, and virtualization
• Experience with modern CI/CD processes and automation solutions
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken
• Structured way of working and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High teamwork and communication skills
• Experience with AWS CDK
• Knowledge in the serverless environment
• Development experience with Java
• AWS certifications
• Start: possible at short notice
• Duration: approx. 12 months with option for extension
• Utilization: Full-time
• Location: Germany or Portugal
• Collaboration in an international and distributed engineering environment
