Interim Commissioning Engineer for Photovoltaic (PV) Systems

Project overview

As part of the expansion of a client company in the renewable energy sector, an experienced interim commissioning engineer for photovoltaic systems is sought. The project includes the professional commissioning of PV systems with a direct interface to regional grid operators.

The flexible project start allows for demand-oriented integration into existing processes, while the minimum duration of 12 months with an extension option ensures sustainable project continuity.

Responsibilities

• Professional commissioning of photovoltaic systems in accordance with VDE standards and technical connection rules
• Coordination and communication with regional grid operators
• Performing measurements, tests, and documentation for grid connection application
• Creation and submission of required proofs and certificates to the grid operators
• Error analysis and optimization for technical problems during the commissioning phase
• Support with final system acceptance and handover to the operator

Requirements

• Completed training as an electrician for energy and building technology or comparable qualification
• Several years of practical experience in commissioning photovoltaic systems
• Experience in coordination and communication with regional grid operators
• Sound knowledge of VDE standards, especially VDE 0126 and VDE-AR-N 4105
• Experience in dealing with and communicating with regional grid operators
• Confident use of measuring and testing equipment for PV systems
