Project overview

For a manufacturing company, we are looking for an experienced Interim Logistics Manager to manage and optimize site-specific logistics processes.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for operational logistics processes and leadership of the logistics team

Ensuring timely material supply to production and reliable deliveries

Coordination of interfaces between purchasing, warehouse, production, shipping, and transport service providers

Analysis and optimization of material and information flows

Management of external logistics partners and freight forwarders

Handling of supply bottlenecks and logistical disruptions

Development of key figures for delivery capability, lead times, inventories, and logistics costs

Implementation of sustainable improvements together with the involved departments

Requirements

Several years of management experience in the logistics of a manufacturing company

Sound knowledge of production logistics, material flow control, and shipping

Experience in stabilizing and optimizing operational logistics processes

Proficient in ERP systems and KPI-based management

Assertiveness, strong communication skills, and a pronounced implementation orientation

High presence in day-to-day business and pragmatic approach to bottlenecks

Experience in the textile industry is an advantage
