Interim Project Manager Large Plant Construction

Project overview

As part of an ongoing major project in the energy and infrastructure sector, you will take on the following tasks:

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Manage the overall operational responsibility for a major construction site in the industrial and energy sector
• Coordinate site managers, commissioning teams, and internal and external project participants
• Oversee all trades such as civil engineering, electrical installation, infrastructure, and safety measures
• Ensure deadlines, quality, and cost specifications are met during the execution phase
• Act as the central point of contact for customers, partners, and stakeholders on site
• Create status reports and provide professional reporting to customers and management
• Coordinate construction site logistics, resource planning, and interface management
• Monitor compliance with safety and quality standards
• Support commissioning and handover of the plant
• Ensure transparent communication among all project participants
• Several years of professional experience as a General Site Manager, Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager, or in a comparable management role
• Demonstrable experience in large plant, industrial plant, or energy plant construction
• Sound expertise in managing complex, cross-trade construction projects
• Experience in civil engineering, electrical engineering, and construction site logistics
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Confident interaction with customers and professional stakeholder management
• Practical experience in reporting, project management, and scheduling
• Very good German and fluent English skills
• High willingness to be present on the construction site and hands-on mentality
